A letter from the inventor of the Retriever
My passion for black powder rifles and my skills as a metal fabrication mechanic have united together to produce a tool that is unique in it's function and precise in its manufacture.
I have been shooting black powder rifles for 15 years now and have gone thru, what seems, every possible load and procedure to attain a more accurate shooting rifle. The result of all of this has brought my groups from barely getting on paper to having to walk down to the target to see ahole in hole shot.
The skills of my trade of thirty years has allowed me to produce a tool that is exact in it's design, function and construction. The company that I have worked for all these years is a close tolerance fabrication shop with up to date equipment and technology.
I started my employment as a helper/apprentice out of high school to being the shop foreman for twenty two years, and currently the production supervisor. My training and my skills as a craftsman have proven invaluable to bring me to this point in time enabling me to produce a tool that can help so many others that share our passion for black powder rifles.
